5 cars that should have been RWD.
Sometimes I wonder what the world would be like if more sports cars from the 90’s were made rear wheel drive. Drifting would probably be a lot easier to get into, that’s for sure (more cars, more parts, etc.).
Not sure why the images are a bit squashed – still getting a hang of this whole “blogging” thing.
Integra Type-R (DC2)
Honda Prelude – looks very similar to an S14 from certain angles…but it’s just missing something. *cough* rear wheel drive
Chevrolet Cobalt (although I hate this car all together, if it was rear wheel drive it would only suck half as much)
Toyota Celica – what happened to at least the AWD version?
Subaru 2.5RS (GC8) – would have been nice to have the option to go RWD from the factory.
What cars do you wish they made (or are making) with rear wheel drive?

I have to admit that an AWD Celica would be awesome. Though it would also make it heavier. And lightness is one of the coolest things about that car.

In my opinion,the integra ( dc5), most civics like the eg’s or ek’s (I’m a hatchback fan), the scion tc and the eclipse should have been rwd. And defiantly the toyota levin coupe from the 90’s!!

Oh yeah and fen motor sports converted a newer celica into a awd using the old celica all trac system. Mature converted an awd gc8 to look like a hawk eye impreza. And a couple of people have converted an integra and lude into rear engine rwd. So what I’ve learned is that all these cars can be rwd if u got loads of money and load of free time, which I don’t. AM I RIGHT??

i used to have a 2003 celica and I used to always wish that it was rear wheel…now i drive a 240 and theres never a moment im driving it when i dont have a smile on my face lol.

IMHO I think a crx hf would be a good rwd there is a guy in santa clara that took the amc eagle and put the crx body over it making a 4×4 crx sick but a 6mt rwd 2012 ford focus WRC Edition is my choice or a 2001 2.5 rs converted to a 2012 sti 6mt and twin turbo boxter 3 liter rwd ( I think I may need a fresh pair of boxers if they make it)
